Bio----*--------*--------*--------*----

For those who don't like long bios:
I love art and music.

For those who do:
Art is one of the easiest ways for me to express myself. Because of this, I tend to layer my work with symbolism and hidden words. So, if you’re one of those people who enjoys things like "Where's Waldo", some of my work may appeal to you.

I really took my art to the next level when I discovered Salvador Dali. His skewed perspectives, vibrant colors, and odd proportions challenged me to push the limits of my own creativity, resulting in the wide array of style and medium I use today.

My biggest inspiration for my art has been my grandmother, who has given me many lessons over the years. She painted THIS in sixth grade:

Music is a fairly newfound pursuit of mine. I just recently learned how to play the guitar (shout out to my big brother!) and record my music. My favorite thing about writing and recording is finding the harmonies. When my mom was my age, she and her two sisters sang together around Nashville. They were called the "Thompson Sisters,” and I have always been amazed at how well they can harmonize.

Here’s a picture of my mom and her sisters with Burt Reynolds back in the day. :)

Currently, I am working on a few different things. I am planning on having a show in April 2014 showcasing all of my pieces. So mark your calendars! I am also working on a big project to raise awareness for Mental Illness. This is something I am very passionate about and cannot wait to share with the world. I hope to start the blog soon and update everyone. Always feel free to email me with comments, suggestions or questions if you're wanting a commissioned piece. Thanks for stopping by!

Coming Soon...ish!
